Dan Dodd has become a premier provider of financial planning and retirement plan services for public sector employees in Wisconsin. Since joining RPA in 2003, he has dedicated his career to helping public sector employees plan for a financially secure future. With an in-depth understanding of the Wisconsin Retirement System pension plan, voluntary benefits, and contractual benefits, he helps clients understand their workplace benefits and how to leverage them to plan for a successful retirement.
Dan recognizes that plan sponsors need advice as well. In conjunction with RPA’s SponsorPlus program, he provides consultative 3(38) fiduciary services, advising trustees on plan design, administration, and industry best practices. As the retirement plan industry rapidly changes, he ensures that plan sponsor clients’ retirement benefits are not only compliant but also effective for employees. Dan brings extensive experience working with public employers to implement cost-saving benefits to fund retiree healthcare as well as 457(b), 403(b), and 401(a) plans. His ultimate goal is helping these employers deliver an outstanding retirement benefits program that helps employees retire better.

He is a graduate of Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Studies Education. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 registrations and is a Certified Financial Planner professional (CFP) and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF).
