Annual award celebrates recipients’ contributions to the firm’s culture, values, and service

Each year Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. (CIR) recognizes financial professionals and home office associates who exemplify the firm’s core values – integrity, commitment, flexibility, and kindness – with the Spirit of Cambridge Awards. RPA President Josh Schwartz is the proud recipient of a 2023 Spirit of Cambridge Award, as voted on by CIR associates and presented at the annual Cambridge Ignite conference.

Schwartz joined CIR in 2000 upon co-founding Retirement Plan Advisors. He has more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry.

He has elected to split CIR’s $1,000 prize donation between the Ancona School’s annual fund (The Butterfly Effect) and the Center on Halsted – Broadway Youth Center.

Additional 2023 Spirit of Cambridge honorees were independent financial professionals Traci Shughart (Premier Wealth Management) and Regina Quirk (Strategic Financial Services) as well as Cambridge home office associates Kay Black (Senior Receptionist) and Morae Metcalf (Assistant Vice President of Human Resources).

Congrats all around!
