Eric Mitchell
Financial Advisor
Eric Mitchell has been a member of the financial services community since 1999 and joined RPA in 2008.
He excels at providing quality investment advice to teachers, nurses, police officers, firefighters, and city and government employees.
Eric’s passion for helping civil servants comes from his previous tenure as a music teacher as well as his father’s career as a police officer. He specializes in 457(b), 403(b), and 401(a) retirement plans, as well as IRAs, college savings plans, and other investment advisory services.
Eric graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Music Education Degree. As a Financial Advisor, he holds FINRA Series 6, 63, and 65 licenses, as well as Michigan life insurance licenses.
In 2016, he was named a Top Retirement Plan Advisor Under 40 by the National Association of Plan Advisors.*
Outside of work, Eric is an active committee member of Scouts BSA Troop 149. He is also a National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI) certified scuba diver. He lives in Macomb with his wife and two children.
